At Boost Healthcare we are inclusive, dynamic, collaborative and focus on culture daily. Our teams are made up of a diverse individuals who are motivated and hands-on team players who want to make an impact.

We are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment where all employees have an opportunity to be heard, grow, and thrive.

We rely on diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and cultures to fuel our innovation and growth.

We are committed to creating a climate of inclusion where all employees have an opportunity to contribute, feel valued and have a sense of belonging.

We are dedicated to creating a work environment where respect, engagement, and support are prioritized. We actively listen to and value the contributions of every team member, encouraging an innovative culture that embraces diversity and inclusivity.

We believe in the power of inclusion, diversity, and equity.

Inclusion is the active practice of valuing and embracing diverse perspectives, cultures, and backgrounds of all employees, creating a sense of belonging for everyone.

Diversity encompasses a wide range of individual cultural and racial backgrounds, experiences, abilities, genders, religions, sexual orientations, and histories.

Equity means freedom from bias that removes barriers, and everyone has access to the resources and opportunities they need to be successful.

Our Inclusion & Diversity Framework outlines the four goals we work toward every day and the actions we’re taking to accomplish them.

Build conscious inclusion

To create a culture where everyone feels valued, we prioritize engaging and educating employees so they can model inclusive behavior. We’re doing this by:

  • Adopting a no-tolerance policy for racism, discrimination, and harassment in our workplace.
  • Reviewing and ensuring policies and practices are inclusive and equitable.
  • Building our collective awareness around inclusion and diversity by celebrating and engaging employees in heritage events such as Black History Month, Pride celebration, and many others with a monthly focus.

Incorporate diversity of people & perspectives

With a goal of reflecting diversity of our communities in our workforce, we are working to invite diverse talent to join our teams. We're doing this by:

  • Training our hiring managers on inclusive hiring practices so they can be aware of selection bias. Instead of seeking “culture fit,” we look for “culture add.”
  • Building diverse teams by partnering with organizations that connect us with a diverse pool of job candidates.
  • Recruiting in both metropolitan and rural communities across the country in 15 approved states.

Increase cultural agility

By equipping our people with cultural agility, they have the tools to genuinely care for each other and create a culture where each person feels a sense of belonging. We're doing this by:

  • Focusing on building an inclusive culture to help us recognize unconscious bias and help create allies.
  • Offering group dialogue and conversation sessions facilitated by the ID committee.
  • Investing in leadership development programs to incorporate ongoing education on how to coach employees, give feedback and be more inclusive.

Create social impact on business & community

Beyond our employees, we strive to have an impact on racial, economic, and geographic disparities in our communities. We’re doing this by:

  • Vetting our potential partners to ensure values align.
  • Listening to diverse perspectives among our employees and partners to inform our business and marketing strategies.
  • Promoting participation of social events within our communities.

Boost’s CEO Liana Hamilton and Director of People & Culture Jason Baker are the executive sponsors of our commitment to building an inclusive culture and a workplace where people can thrive and feel a sense of belonging. They hold us accountable and frequently communicate the importance of this commitment.
